About us
Building on extensive experience in lubricant additive technologies, Vis-Max Lubricant Additives is an independent manufacturer specialising in Pour Point Depressants (PPD) and Viscosity Index Improvers (VII) for the lubricant industry
Our core focus is the development and production of high-performance Pour Point Depressant (PPD) solutions, backed by application know-how, flexible manufacturing capability and direct technical support
Solutions specifically designed for different base oils, lubricant formulations and low-temperature performance requirements
Solutions for lubricant formulations that require reliable viscosity-temperature performance and consistent product quality
Product solutions developed by combining technical expertise with flexible, cost-effective manufacturing
Reliable supply and fast technical support from product selection through laboratory evaluation to commercial application
Our technology
Vis-Max specialises in developing high-performance solutions for the low-temperature requirements of modern lubricants. Our Pour-Max Pour Point Depressants (PPD) are designed to control wax crystallisation and maintain reliable oil flow at low temperatures across a wide range of lubricant applications
Our technology is built on an application-specific performance approach. Because PPD performance depends heavily on base oil composition, viscosity grade and additive system, we focus on selecting the right polymer chemistry for each formulation and tailoring it to the application. This approach delivers effective low-temperature performance across different base oils and demanding operating conditions
Alongside our core PPD technology, Vis-Max also offers polymethacrylate-based Viscosity Index Improvers (VII). Our VII products provide effective viscosity-temperature control combined with excellent shear stability, making them particularly suitable for hydraulic fluids, gear oils and other industrial lubricant applications

From molecular design to application performance, our focus is simple: developing the right polymer solution for the lubricant
Our solutions
Vis-Max combines its Pour Point Depressant (PPD) expertise with regional manufacturing capability and fast technical support, strengthening supply security while offering greater flexibility and shorter lead times in regional markets
